Niagara Autumn Wedding Show ~ Vintage Rentals Ontario

A huge thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth at the Niagara Autumn Wedding Show on September 29, 2013 in St. Catharines.  We’ve had an over whelming response from the show and we’re so excited to be a part of some really fabulous events coming up.

I wanted to share some photos of our booth with you as we introduced some new items to our inventory list.  The vision and creation for this booth design was really inspired by the rustic outdoors but with touches of feminine beauty (pinks, creams and golds) and a glamourous table scape, but we couldn’t forget the men… so we included antlers, dark wood, earthy tones and elements of birch.

We also unveiled one of our newest items- our champagne sequin table runners.  They are simply amazing and caught the attention of numerous brides at the show!

The creation of the centrepiece using our antlers and the rest of the florals in our vessels were designed by Michelle of Fresh Collaborative Events

The super cute hand painted floral cake complete with two little love birds on a birch branch and yummy gluten free pie pops were created by Katarina of Katty Kakes

Everything else you see in the photos is available for rent for your event.  If you’d love to have something like this at your event or wedding just contact us!

Oh, the places we will go! – Vintage travel wedding in Niagara

I love that Victoria and Phil are both travel junkies!  Victoria and I hit it off right away through email, I loved her passion for traveling and the love for their animals… not to mention she’s got a thing for vintage!

Victoria and I chatted through numerous emails about the look and feel of her day, never meeting she trusted my vision and let me be as creative as I wanted.  We designed a memory hutch, welcome table and escort table for their big day.  We picked up little travel related items as the time led up to their wedding in June to give it the perfect finishing touches.

We got to work with some great vendors as well (We’ve listed them below)

A couple days after their wedding I received the sweetest note from Victoria and Phil… it read:

Words cannot describe how incredibly beautiful you made the travel theme come together for our wedding on Saturday. We are extremely overwhelmed by the effort you put in for our big day and for immaculate attention to detail. You truly thought of everything. We will always be so honoured for what you did you for us. You are one of the sweetest and generous people we have met – even without actually meeting face-to-face. We will always remember what you did for us and will be letting everyone know about how amazing you are. We look forward to working and meeting you again in the future.
This is just a short thank you message before we get some pictures and thank you cards in:)
You are truly an incredible person. Thank you again for everything. You truly made our day perfect.”

Victoria and Phil

Let them eat cake! ~ Vintage 1st Birthday Party

A couple weeks ago we were so delighted to be a part of our friends Jessica and Mike’s little girls first Birthday!  She was all smiles when she got to have that big piece of cake, we all couldn’t help but laugh.  You’ll notice Jessica (who is also the owner of Fleurish Design Studio) did a wonderful job co-ordinating corals and teals, nothing was over looked.  Her sister did a great job decorating our chalkboards, and filling out the tags on our candy jars.

It was so nice to not only be a vendor at this little sweeties birthday, but also a friend.:)

I am so in love with these photos – and the styling for this beautiful little girls’ birthday. Amazing…..!!

We’ll always have Paris ~ Mother’s Day Luncheon

A mother’s passion and love for Paris, travel and all things Audrey Hepburn was the inspiration for this Mother’s Day luncheon.  With the beautiful and intricate lace table linens and chair covers from Simply Beautiful Decor, vintage luggage, cameras, and a delectable cake from Sweet Celebrations trimmed with Audrey’s infamous string of pearls and iced in a vintage white, the stage was set for a high end celebration and tribute to a wonderful mother.  With dainty bud vases filled with fragrant blossoms and circling the antique candelabra, the seating area was secluded and crowned with meters of flowing sheer panels to add even more sophistication, elegance and romance to this event.  While we did not rent Audrey’s beloved Yorkie, we did see a chihuahua during the event.
